Bathabile Dlamini not solely to blame for Sassa mess - special advisor

Social Development Minister's adviser, Sipho Shezi, says all those responsible for managerial failures within the South Africa Social Security Agency (Sassa) should be held liable.

Shezi says Minister Bathabile Dlamini cannot be the only one responsible for the problems regarding the payments of social grants.

Dlamini has been criticised by Members of Parliament (MPs) for deliberately delaying the process despite knowing that Sassa needed a new service provider in 2014.
