Former Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) board chairperson, Popo Molefe, says it is not true that the previous board used unlawful means to investigate alleged irregularities and corruption at the parastatal.
Transport Minister Dipuo Peters has appointed a new Prasa board following the sacking of the previous board chaired by Molefe.

Letsoalo was not in the picture. She brought him in to say she thinks in the interim we should be appointing an acting CEO, which after a long debate we agreed to.— Popo Molefe, axed Prasa board chairperson
He says they approved it as a board and stated that Letsoalo was going to be accountable to the board.
Molefe says the case to stop Peters from appointing new board will be heard on Friday.
