Sassa and Bathabile Dlamini due to present their cases to ConCourt

Social Development Minister Bathabile Dlamini and South Africa Social Security Agency (Sassa) will need to explain to the Constitutional Court on Wednesday morning how social grants will be paid from 1 April.

Yesterday Dlamini and Sassa missed another ConCourt deadline by filing their affidavits 11 minutes late.

Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng asked them to explain why they missed the Monday 4 pm deadline to explain the social grants debacle.
