DA backs Judge Zondo's nomination as deputy chief justice

Democratic Alliance (DA) has congratulated Constitutional Court Judge Raymond Zondo on his nomination to be the next Deputy Chief Justice.

DA leader, Mmusi Maimane, says he acknowledges that while gender is important, but Zondo is the suitable candidate for the job.

Judge Zondo has served in the Constitutional Court. We believe without doubt that he demonstrates a loyalty to the Constitution.
