Are wigs the new black? Azania Mosaka gives the lowdown on this fashion trend

Wigs can be described as an artificial head of hair. They can be used to conceal baldness or as a fashion accessory.

Azania Mosaka revealed to 702landers that she has cornrows under her wig.

Wearing a wig is no longer a taboo and 702 listeners attest to this.

Here are some pointers of the types of wigs you can get:

Synthetic Wigs: These are less expensive and are most likely to be made of synthetic fibers. The synthetic wig is machine made, mass produced, and very durable.

Natural Wigs The natural hair wigs are produced using from a variety of hairs, such as human hair, horsehair, wool or buffalo hair.

Remy Hair Wig The Remy refers to human hair wigs that have the cuticle still attached at the ends and are not processed. These wigs are sometimes called, "virgin hair" and "cut hair" wigs. They feel softer to the touch and have less tangling.
