Will the President fire Bathabile Dlamini? Probably not says Steven Friedman

Cash Paymaster Services have been prevented from disclosing the personal information of the social services grants recipients for any marketing purposes.

CPS will also have to send text messages in the first language of the grant recipients telling them to opt out of any marketing services.

There will be regular and rigorous scrutiny of what SASSA does to make sure that when the contract with CPS comes to an end someone who has been properly elected will take over.

Professor Steven Friedman, a political analyst, says the Constitutional Court ruling is a huge setback for the faction Minister of Social Development, Bathabile Dlamini belongs to in the ANC.

Will the President fire her? Probably not.
