#OpenLine: Hlomla Dandala calls for new 'paradigm' to address race issues

The Eusebius McKaiser show Open Line was lit as listeners discussed racism and racialism.

Twitter was blown away by the conversation between Eusebius and South African actor and television presenter, Hlomla Dandala.

We can reach a time where racial reductionist does not necessarily have to be racism. Currently, we can't separate those two. To separate those two requires something that pulls more gravity than racism. And that new framework will not eliminate racialism, and I'm not seeking for an elimination of racialism.

Hlomla Dandala, actor, television presenter, and director

I'm saying let's find something that can replace racism and seeks all the problems that are inherent with racism. I don't know what that answer is.

Hlomla Dandala, actor, television presenter, and director

It's possible to exist outside a paradigm of racism, and not necessarily racialism.
