ANC Top Six to investigate Dlamini over Sassa debacle

According to reports over the weekend, the ANC top Six is looking into investigating Minister Bathabile Dlamini over the Sassa debacle.

This follows a ruling by the Constitutional Court on Friday that the current contract between Sassa and CPS should continue for the next 12 months to allow Sassa time to prepare to take over the grant payment system.

EWN reporter Gia Nicolaides, says Dlamini was summoned to appear before the ANC integrity Committee on the weekend.

President Jacob Zuma issued a statement saying that he will be chairing this committee to ensure that the directions of the court are implemented.

Dlamini said that she is shocked that the court could hold her personally liable for the legal costs related to this crisis. she says she will be consulting with her lawyers on how to fight this.
