Youth open the space for HIV conversation

Founders of Good Stories, Thula and Ntokozo Mkhize say the conversation around HIV/Aids amongst youth needs to change to encourage a behavioral change.

The twin brothers have used the digital media space to share stories of people living positively with the virus.

Thula who was 24 when he found out that he was HIV-positive says while access to medication is being prioritised and make it possible to live a long and healthy life, more can be done to change the mindset of people in the case of prevention.

We are doing exceptionally well in making sure that the physical stuff is available, the medication is available, but what are we doing in addressing the minds of our people?

Not a lot of work is going into changing the psycho-behavioral issues
