PPF denies being funded by the Gupta's

Thembakazi Mnyaka, National Chairperson The Progressive Professional Forum (PPF) says her organisation is aware of reports that they are being funded by the Gupta family.

Mnyaka says the PPF is a non-racial organisation with an objective to provide professionals a platform to engage in stimulating intellectual debates on the progressive agenda.

Mnyaka says PPF provides a voice for black professionals that are trying to be silenced by white monopoly capital. She adds it is the anti-progressive forces that are trying to ensure economic transformation is not achieved.

PPF is saying we are resolute, we'll get our people together and we'll actually transform South Africa.

Mnyaka says her organisation has been funded by state owned entities such as Eskom and Transnet but only for specific events by pitting together a proposal like any other company that seeks funding.

She adds that it would only make sense to be sponsored by an organisation that has interest in a company.

Mnyaka says they will continue to fight the resistance towards economic transformation.
