Business Accelerator finalist Miller's Antiques is third generation family business that imports and fabricates classic English and French style reproduction furniture.
They put it on the showroom floor in raw form and design and finish it to customer specification using English and French techniques.— Pavlo Phitidis, business growth specialist
Miller's Antiques owner Carmit Bamberger says she took over the business in 2010 when her father passed away.
She explains that despite changes and challenges, the core style of the business has remained the same.
Bamberger says that specialising in custom finishing has helped Miller's Antiques differentiate itself from competition.
My customers come in to pick and mix what they like. We offer them many years of experience and go on a journey with them.— Carmit Bamberger, owner of Miller's Antiques
Business growth specialist Pavlo Phitidis advises that Miller's Antiques advantage is its historic significance and consistently traditional style.
Phitidis says that the business is well positioned but should modernise its marketing and promotion platforms in order to grow.
