Africa report: Nambia calls for land expropriation

The Namibian government wants to transfer 43% of its cultivatable agricultural land to previously disadvantaged black communities by 2020.

By the end of 2015, 27% was redistributed, according to the Namibia Agriculture Union.

Namibian President Hage Geingob announced on Tuesday that they are considering the move to spur the transfer of property to the country's black majority.

Crysral Orderson gives details on this and more.
