Jamsco Automotive Assemblies provides missing pieces for top carmakers

Enter your business in the Nedbank Business Accelerator Campaign with 702 today.

Business Accelerator finalist Jamsco Automotive Assemblies supplies stamped and assembled car components for major vehicle manufacturers, both locally and internationally.

Hayley Eagle is the owner of Jamsco and works with car manufactures such as Mercedes Benz, BMW and Ford.

Eagle has managed to hold her own in the male-dominated automotive industry.

Business growth specialist Pavlo Phitidis says Jamsco has become the blueprint of how black-owned automotive component suppliers can thrive and add value in the local supply chain.

Eagle explains that the automotive sector is stringent and fast-paced.

Despite a lack of gender representation in the industry, Eagle says she has received a great deal of support from her male associates.

Phitidis says that Jamsco can grow if it deepens its assembly capabilities and continues to create a platform to meet the needs of other private industrialists in South Africa.
