Getting to know MP, Dr Makhosi Khoza

African National Congress MP, Dr Makhosi Busisiwe Khoza made waves at the SABC enquiry earlier this year when she grilled Minister of Communications, Faith Muthambi.

Khoza's line of questioning coupled with her good looks, earned her the respect and admiration of many South Africans, even praise from opposition parties.

Khoza is a Member of Parliament serving on the Standing Committee on Finance.

She is also a former chairperson of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts and Finance (SCOPA) in KwaZulu-Natal and has over 20 years of collective experience at both public and private sector institutions.

Here is what we learned about Dr. Khoza from her interview with Gugs Mhlungu (standing in for Azania Mosaka)

She holds a PHD in Administration, a master’s degree in Social Science (Policy and Development studies)

Khoza is currently studying towards a master’s degree in Finance at the University of London.

She has no intentions of being South Africa's president, yet.
