SABC interim board confirmed

Newly appointed SABC board chairperson, Khanyisile Kweyama, will serve alongside Krish Naidoo, Mathatha Tsedu, John Matisson and Febe Potgiether-Gqubule.

Kweyama says the board's mandate is quite clear in terms of what is expected from them. She says the interim board will meet within the next 24 hours to plan and execute a strategy.

The process for the implementation of a permanent board will begin at a much later date. She adds that the National Assembly requires that three executive vacancies be filled.
