Mantashe refuses to speculate over Cabinet reshuffle rumours
ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantashe says he does not want to speculate about a suspected Cabinet reshuffle.
Mantashe spoke at the party’s national executive committee (NEC) media briefing about its weekend meeting, reports EWN's Clement Manyathela.
He says President Jacob Zuma did not consult with the ANC about his decision to order Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan to immediately comeback to South Africa while on an international investor roadshow.
Mantashe said he will see if the matter is brought up during a meeting between Zuma and the top six on Monday evening.
The rand weakened following news Gordhan had been instructed to return home, and Mantashe hinted that there could be further developments.
Mantashe said we will see the reaction depending on what ultimately happens. He said that the real impact will be seen when there are other steps taken.

Mantashe also spoke about the party's plans to address land and crime.
