Gerbi says Van Breda was expected to plead guilty or not guilty but the hearing has since been postponed to April.

She says he is expected to plead not guilty. Gerbi says the filming of the hearing has been suspended. Judge Siraj Desai has prohibited the filming of Marli van Breda, the accused's sister.

Gerbi says the trial is likely to run from April to the beginning of July.
