Cabinet meeting agenda still unknown - EWN Reporter

EWN reporter, Clement Manyathela spoke to 702's Redi Tlhabi from the Union Buildings in Tshwane.

Manyathela said that there was a hive of activity outside the Union Buildings.

He confirmed the President's decision to move the Cabinet meeting to Wednesday afternoon.

So far we've seen the presidential motorcade leaving the Sefako Makgatho presidential guest house and making its way into the Union Buildings.

Manyathela adds that the motorcade made its way into the entrance used by the President and ministers. He says it difficult to tell who is in the cars, which are guarded by a heavy security presence.

Without doubt, the President is inside the Union Buildings. That Cabinet meeting is expected to get underway this afternoon.

Clement Manyathela, EWN reporter

Manyathela says Eyewitness News spoke with two ministers earlier, who have excused themselves from the cabinet meeting. He says this gives an indication that this meeting was scheduled quite recently.
