National Spokesperson for the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa), Paseka Letsatsi says beneficiaries who are paid through the banks will receive their social grants on April 1.
He says those who collect grants at Sassa pay points will receive their money only on April 3 as clearly stipulated on their receipts.
The beneficiaries of social grants can be rest assured that there would not be any disruptions and we would like to assure everybody in the twelve months given by Concourt we will have a smooth process.— Paseka Letsatsi, National Spokesperson of South African Social Security Agency
Letsatsi confirmed that Sassa CEO Thokozani Magwaza is back at work and all is back to normal. He also confirmed negotiations with the South African Post Office with regards to possibilities of paying grants through the Post Office when the extended CPS expires.
