South African actress Terry Pheto has won the award for Best Supporting Actress at the National Film Awards in the UK.
The award for her a role as Naledi in A United Kingdom, a film based on the love story of Botswana's first president King of Bechuanaland (modern Botswana), Seretse Khama and British office clerk Ruth Williams.
Congratulations have poured in for the 35 year old known for her popular roles in Tsotsi, Ayanda _Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom _and numerous other films.
