The benefits of aqua aerobics (don't knock it 'til you've tried it)

Contrary to popular belief, aqua aerobics isn't reserved for senior citizens or pregnant women, says health expert Dr. David Katz.

Katz explains that aqua aerobics is a form of resistance training, which helps improve the following areas of fitness:

  • core control
  • stability work
  • injury rehabilitation

I challenge anyone who hasn't done aqua aerobics to attend a class. You will feel the workout, especially your core!
