3 April 2017 5:07 PM

Section 27's Mark Heywood says civil society groups have established a camp in Church Square, opposite Treasury in Pretoria.

Civil society groups that are part of the Save South Africa campaign are occupying Church Square, opposite Treasury in Pretoria, to demonstrate their opposition to President Jacob Zuma's Cabinet reshuffle.

Section 27 executive director Mark Heywood, says South Africans must put aside their differences and unite against looting of the State.

We are sleeping over, and encouraging people to sleep over in the tent. We are encouraging people to come by Church Square everyday, to show support for the cause of our democracy.

Mark Heywood, Section 27 executive director

We are leading this towards what appears to be gathering momentum for a massive march to the Union Buildings on Friday afternoon of this week.
