Movie Bypass delves into human organ trafficking

The movie Bypass is releasing in Ster Kinekor theaters on May 12, 2017.

Director and co-writer, Shane Vermooten says the movie deals with the problem of underground organ trafficking.

The main character Dr Lisa Cooper played by Natalie Becker is torn between saving her dying son who is in dire need of a liver of uphold her medical integrity and keep on saving other people's lives. Ultimately she gets caught up in illegal organ trade.

The marketing of this up coming movie caught the attention of a lot of people when the team distributed flyers for a new clinic that specialises in human organ transplants. See website

Vermooten says they were inundated with emails from people who were looking to buy human organs, which shows the scale of the problem.
