Gambians prepare for first election post-Yahya Jammeh

Gambians prepare to vote in Parliamentary poles on Thursday.

This is the first election since former President Yahya Jammeh stepped down after being in power for 22 years.

There are 239 registered candidates representing nine different political parties.
