"ANC has no capacity to self-correct"

African National Congress (ANC), secretary general, Gwede Mantashe said earlier, in a press briefing that airing party politics in public was a mistake.

Democratic Alliance, National Spokesperson, Phumzile van Damme, says Mantashe's earlier remarks are proof that the ANC has no capacity to self-correct.

It is now up to South Africans to make their voices heard, make the ANC listen to them by saying they do not want President Zuma to continue leading this country.

Phumzile van Damme, DA National Spokesperson

In response to the sudden change of heart from Mantashe, van Damme says the mass protest planned for Friday, the DA's application with the High Court and their motion of no confidence is the DA's plan to get President Zuma to step down.
