WATCH: Joyous Celebration uplifts listeners with harmonies on #702Unplugged

Award-winning gospel group Joyous Celebration moved listeners with their melodies on 702's weekly Unplugged session.

Joyous Celebration founder Pastor Jabu Hlongwane and seven members of the ensemble joined presenter Azania Mosaka for a special live acapella performance.

The vocalists sang popular hymns including, Bengingazi and Umbhedesho.

Hlongwane reflected on the climate in the country, the group's 21 years in music, their new album and tour Heal Our Land and collaboration with TD Jakes's Potter's House choir.

Joyous Celebration was born out of democracy. The seed of Joyous was planted because of democracy.
