Editor and journalist, Ryland Fisher says President Jacob Zuma nowhere to be seen on the day of protests against his leadership.

Editor and journalist, Ryland Fisher spoke with John Maytham about the significance of the anti Zuma protests that occurred in various parts of South Africa.

Fisher says the widespread nature of Friday's protests, proves the levels of impatience towards President Jacob Zuma's leadership and the African National Congress (ANC).

The ANC needs to take notice of this that it can't just be about them.

Ryland Fisher, Editor and journalist

Fisher says the problem lies with the ANC thinking the fate of the country is in their hands. He is it now clear that the people want to be involved in the political decisions of South Africa. Fisher says significant changes will now be seen in the country.
