Two South African teams to be axed from Super Rugby tournament

The ruling body of Super Rugby confirmed over the weekend that two of the south African teams that are currently playing in Super Rugby tournament are going to be axed.

According to rugby commentator, Andy Capostagno, governing body SANZAAR said on Sunday it will be reducing the teams from 18 to 15 to strengthen competition.

Capostagno says there's a lot of politicking going on behind closed doors. He says there's an expectation that Kings and Cheetahs will be getting a chop from Super Rugby.

I feel that at the end of 2019 South Africa will find a way to go north and that would leave Australia, New Zealand, Japan, perhaps Americas on the other side with a different competition.
