The High Court in Pretoria has reinstated the Prasa board headed by chairperson Popo Molefe after it was dissolved last month.
The then Minister of Transport Dipuo Peters dissolved the parastatal's board after it fired acting CEO Collins Letsoalo for increasing his salary by 350%.
Molefe and the other ousted members had asked the court to set aside Peters’ decision to dissolve the board, saying it was irrational and unlawful.
The High Court ruled that the board had every right to challenge the minister, reports EWN's Gia Nicolaides.

The transport ministry has been ordered to pay the legal costs.
