Productivity tips from founder of Mantelli’s (biscuits with impeccable taste!)

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Mantelli’s founder Simon Mantell for his weekly small business feature.

Mantelli’s makes premium/niche biscuits for more discerning markets than those targeted by mainstream factories.

Mantell founded Mantelli’s in 1988.

He asked (and answered) the following questions about productivity:

  • Amount of public holidays; how about bank holidays? How can we change things?

  • The first 17 days in manufacturing is to break even. This month only has 17 days.

  • In the workplace; how do we set a good example? Training. And doing things well the first time.
