Former Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) veteran and anti-pass activist Philip Kgosana has died at the age of 80.
He was well known for leading more than 30 000 anti-pass protesters from Langa to Parliament in 1960.
Kgosana passed away at a Pretoria hospital on Thursday after a short illness.
CapeTalk presenter Pippa Hudson replayed an interview she had with the late PAC leader in 2014, marking 20 years of democracy at the time.
