Paris attack triggers heightened security 48 hours before French elections

EWN UK Correspondent Peter Anderson says there is progress being made in the Paris terror attack on the famed Champs-Elysees.

He says the police have revealed that the suspect is a 39-year-old man.

Anderson says the police have not yet officially released the suspect's name but it is believed that his family home has been raided and his family members arrested.

Security has been heightened only two before the French presidential elections. There are concerns that they could be other attacks planned in the next couple of days.

Isis has since claimed responsibility for the attacks.

This has brought a country that has been very much on the alert footing to a peak of that...
