Breaking News: Legendary boxing promoter and trainer Nick Durandt has died

Legendary boxing promoter and trainer Nick Durandt has died in a bike crash near Clarens in the Eastern Free State

Durandt, who was the president of the Crusaders Bike club, collided with a vehicle on the road between Bethlehem and Clarins on Friday afternoon.

His son Damien was with him in the hospital when he died.

Two weeks ago Durandt retired from boxing and his son Damian took over, says Leopeng.

Durandt produced 90 South Africa champions.
