One of the Small Business Award finalists 2015, Dreamweave Digital, was approached to create an app which would allow registered users to help keep track of marine mammals in our oceans.
Managing director of Dreamweave Digital, Jonathan Vass, says the app is simply a tool to help citizen scientists to contribute to the knowledge of marine mammals.
He says the app will benefit marine biologists and researchers.
The app called Seafari went live this week and is free to download.
