It takes a deeper look at her personal battles with addiction, the bond she had with her father and coming face to face with his killer.
Hani has been two and a half years sober and says her never imagined making it this far.
She says she was hooked on cocaine and dagga, but tried to be a functioning addict as best as possible.

After a year of isolated sobriety and retrenchment, Hani approached her co-author and publisher Melinda Ferguson about sharing her story.
She spoke about the writing process, her reservations about the book, family dynamics and her relationship with her father.
