Telkom explains changes to their uncapped wireless LTE

Telkom Communication and Brand Marketing Jacqui O'Sullivan says a small percentage of people use up a whopping 2.5 terabytes of information a month, which has a knock on effect for other customers.

Some customers have accused Telkom of changing their uncapped wireless LTE programme. But Telkom says these are the customers using an excessive amount of data.

We have hoped that we will be able to provide as much data as possible to people through our LTE network. And we can still do that in a more standardised environment.

Terabytes of data is not normal. It is not an acceptable use.

She says they have given these users two options.

These customers can exit without a penalty or they can look at a product that can give them what they are looking for. But this is really affecting other people.
