ANC is dragging Cosatu down with it - Justice Malala

Political analyst Justice Malala described what happened at the May Day rally on Monday in Bloemfontein as a bloody nose for Jacob Zuma and a moment of truth for Cosatu.

President Jacob Zuma was prevented from giving his speech at the rally as he was booed by workers. Organisers of the rally called it off as chaos erupted.

The ANC is dragging Cosatu down with it and Cosatu leaders need to be very aware that they will not end up with a united federation...

Malala was responding to the fact that Zuma was not the only one booed at the May Day rally, ANC's national chairperson Baleka Mbete and deputy-general secretary Jessie Duarte were also heckled.
