Columnist Palesa Morudu says Western Cape Premier Helen Zille's comment that whites are silenced with regard to racial discussions is not true.

Morudu says people may feel that they are silenced when others are frustrated and angry, but says everyone should be allowed to take part in the discussions.

Let's have a conversation that racial inequality is a factor in South Africa, and that restorative justice has got to put race in the centre of what is needed.
