Lindiwe Sisulu says ANC branches are captured

African National Congress (ANC) NEC member Lindiwe Sisulu has decided to put herself on the side of members believing the ruling party is in deep trouble and they can no longer keep quiet, says political analyst Karima Brown.

Sisulu has once again spoken out about the state of the ANC and its leadership.

She spoke against those ignoring ANC's rules by campaigning for the party's leadership position.

Sisulu was speaking on the sidelines of the military veterans dialogue at the Birchwood Hotel in Boksburg on Thursday.

Brown says Sisulu has put her head in the ring for the presidential battle as the party will elect new leadership in December.
