Bathabile Dlamini a no show in Parliament but attends campaign in Hammanskraal

The African National Congress Women's League (ANCWL) led by the leagues president, Bathabile Dlamini are in Hammanskraal outside Pretoria, hosting the Molo Makhelwane Campaign.

ANCWL said the campaign is aimed at building stronger, inclusive, constructive and socially cohesive communities through meaningful engagement with households.

Clement Manyathela, EWN reporter, says African National Congress (ANC) supporters can be seen clad in the party's regalia and singing songs praising President Jacob Zuma.

The campaign is a platform to bring out the former AU Commission chair to speak to women.

We expect Bathabile Dlamini to sell her to women and people attending the rally.

Manyathela says journalists are likely to ask the ANCWL's president, Bathabile Dlamini why she failed to appear in two parliamentary committee meetings earlier this week, yet she has made time for an event like today.
