Police officers have managed to forestall a planned arson attack on a fourth farm house in Coligny, reports EWN's Masa Kekana.
Violence has erupted in the North West community after the two men, accused of killing 16-year-old Matlhomola Moshoeu, were granted bail.
A group of at least 40 protesters had arrived at a fourth farm this afternoon where they had planned to set the house alight, but police arrived in time to disperse them.
As we arrived, the police had been on the scene before the protesters were able to attack the fourth house.— Masa Kekana, EWN reporter
Kekana says it appears farm owners are putting up extra security around their homes as angry residents continue to demonstrate.
Protesters have pelted stones at police who continue to monitor the situation.
