Berkshire Hathaway share now at $248 000 (once worth just 76 McDonald's burgers)

The Money Show host Bruce Whitfield says 50 years ago one would buy 76 McDonald's burgers for every share they own at Berkshire Hathaway, but that it has all changed now.

But, there has been growth and it's now worth $248 000, which can buy you an Ivy-league education.

That's a four-year education at Harvard, including accommodation, books and some beer money. That's the extent to which there has been growth in the value of Berkshire Hathaway share throughout 50 years.
