Caller warns against BlueWhale (suicide game targeting teens)

The online game targeting teenagers enticing them to commit suicide, Blue Whale, A Sea of Whales, A Silent House or Wake me Up at 4:20am, could make its way to South Africa.

Apparently, the game has made international headlines, and has been linked to at least 130 deaths.

After downloading the app into a smartphone or computer, the user is then assigned tasks including self-harming, watching horror movies, and waking up at odd hours. On the 50th and final day the user is encouraged to commit suicide.

Eyewitness News reports that the game is believed to have originated in Russsia.
