According to a new study, babies learn faster if their fathers actively engage with them in the first few months of life.
The study was conducted by a team from Imperial College London, King's College London and Oxford University.
Psychologist, Megan de Beer, says fathers involvement with their babies has a huge impact on the academic abilities of their children, reaching as far as their senior schooling.
De Beer says fathers involvement also help children develop better cognitive development.
