Gauteng temps to drop as cold front hits parts of SA

The South African Weather Service says Gauteng may expect severe thunderstorms and there's a 60 percent chance of rain on Friday evening.

Windy and cold conditions are expected in central and northern parts of the province.

Weather forecaster, Wayne Venter, says there will be rain for most of the day, and temperatures will decrease throughout the day.

The cold front is expected to affect Gauteng, Mpumalanga and KwaZulu Natal.
