Makhosi Khoza feels 'betrayed' by silent ANC amid death threats and intimidation

ANC MP Dr Makhosi Khoza says she is disappointeding that ANC leadership has been silent following calls from the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) ANC Youth League (ANCYL) calling for her resignation.

Khoza says she often fears for her life after receiving several death threats for publicly criticising the ruling party.

Khoza has spoken out against political intimidation and says the ANCYL in KZN has expressed plans to picket outside her house.

They've moved from pressing for me to be recalled, to wanting me to resign and they are saying they are going to picket outside my house.

Khoza says she won't resign and says the ANCYL must take her to a disciplinary hearing if they want her to be recalled.

She says that the ruling party has been injudicious and admitted that she is in favour of a secret ballot in the motion of no confidence in President Jacob Zuma.
