[LISTEN] The power of visualisation and positive thinking

Attaining your goals comes with a few unwanted hurdles.

How do you stay positive along the way?

Callers shared their own personal stories and advice with Azania Mosaka.

Growing up I always said I am going to make my first million before I turn 30, turned 30 and no million in the bank. Beginning of 2014 I got sick I got stressed felt like I was a failure. Went to see my doctor told her the story. I went back home, world on my laptop, forwarded a couple if proposals ....by April I had made my first million, now I am sitting with a business that has a turnover of over R30 million.

Believe it is possible. You have to see it in your mind and start living like that... I remember three months ago, Itumeleng Khune posted a picture of himself very young wearing a Kaizer Chiefs jersey and he put a bandage on his right hand saying captain.

In this world, some people make it happen and some people wait for it to happen. Allow yourself to be around positive people and it makes a huge difference.

I do vision boards - so every three, four years or so I create a vision board. There is a vision board I created when I just finished varsity and interestingly enough my mom picked it up and came across it... some of the stuff that I put on that board, from the colour of the car that I am driving now to the layout of the house. I had done that. It is the gift that can level the plain fields if you just have that power to visualise and believe in it .
