[LISTEN] Jazz as ever-changing social consciousness

Looking at the cultural evolution of jazz music, Percy Mabandu explains the significance of the genre, as well as the personal stories and politics attached to it.

He also looks at whether or not a love for the music can be learned.

Percy Mabandu, author

Jazz music is not music of the museum, its a living music, a living art form that is constantly acquiring accents into itself.
