Designer David Tlale searching for the next fashion star

Looking for a big break in t he fashion world?

Fashion designer David Tlale is on the hunt for 12 hopeful fashion designers to compete in his rigorous intern programme cum reality TV show.

Tlale will host a new reality show where 12 contestants vie for the title of Assistant Designer for the house of David Tlale.

The show will air on SABC 3 and auditions are currenlty underway.

He says the show will be an opportunity for aspiring designers to take advantage of mentorship, exposure and skills.

We need to make sure that designers understand the business of fashion... and how to build a brand.

Tlale and his team have been out in Cape Town on Monday (May 22), at the Castle of Good Hope.

He will be in Durban, IGoda Incubator on May 25 and 26; Polokwane, TBC on May 29 and 30 and Johannesburg, Johannesburg City Hall on June 1 and 2 for a national roadshow.
