Do SA visa regulations make it difficult to conduct intra-African business?

702's Xolani Gwala finds out whether South Africa is ‘business-friendly’ for African counterparts wanting to do business in the country.

Integrate Immigrations operations director, Bjorn van Niekerk, says there are a lot of regulations from the Department of Trade and Industry for people to meet and that that could frustrate people wanting to conduct business in South Africa.

The problem normally comes in when a person want to conduct business here, there is a lot of red tape.

Bjorn van Niekerk, Integrate Immigration operations director

Van Niekerk says though strides have been made, there is still a room for improvement to make the process quicker.

Obviously we know that checks ans balances need to be met... but we certainly believe this can be streamlined and made a little more efficient.
